Acupuncturists must be licensed to prescribe herbs as it requires a separate certification. Taking herbs is very effective for many conditions, sometimes with almost immediate results. It cures many chronic conditions otherwise not treated (just maintained) with Western medications. These herbs are side-effect free (but need to be prescribed properly).
